We all see it, hear it and know that global warming is coming very close, we just don’t look at it. We are exploiting the earth’s as- sets to their fullest extent, without caring about its fate. Not only the future of the earth is at stake, but also the future of the huma- nity. We are also aware that global warming is caused by the overexploitation of natural resources, globalised trade and continuous over-consumption. The picture tries to show how fragile some of the elements of our earth can actually be. In this case, it does so by wrapping the hand-painted sky in hovercraf- ted plastic and using a shipping sticker. The design, the use of materials and the colours all reflect the motifs of international shipping, symbolising how humanity now views and treats our planet as an object.
